Who we are
SPARKBYTE is operated by an individual seller based in mainland China. When online payments are enabled, Creem acts as Merchant of Record and may process payment-related personal data under its own policies.
What we collect
- Waitlist / contact email — only if you email us or use a mailto waitlist form that opens your own mail client. This static site does not store emails on a server by itself.
- Order & questionnaire answers — after purchase, the information you voluntarily provide so we can write your listing and justification files (extension description, audience, permissions, etc.).
- Payment data — handled by Creem when checkout is live. We do not collect card numbers on this website.
- Technical logs — your host (e.g. Aliyun OSS / nginx) may log IP and user-agent per their defaults.
What we never collect
- Chrome Web Store, Google, or developer console passwords
- Remote access credentials to your publisher account
How we use information
- To deliver the digital pack you ordered
- To reply to waitlist or support messages
- To meet legal, tax, and chargeback obligations (often via Creem as MoR when payments are live)
Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We may share data with processors needed to run the service (e.g. email provider, Creem as payment MoR, hosting). Questionnaire content is used only to produce your files.
Retention
Order and delivery records are kept as long as needed for support, accounting, and legal requirements, then deleted or anonymized when no longer required.
International transfers
You may be outside China; the operator is in mainland China; payment processors may be elsewhere. By contacting us or purchasing, you understand your information may be processed across borders as needed to fulfill the order.
Your choices
Email us to request access, correction, or deletion of data we hold, subject to legal retention limits. Contact: see the waitlist address configured on the site (default hello@sparkbyte.app) or the address provided at checkout.
Children
This service is aimed at adult developers and business operators. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
Changes
We may update this policy; the “Last updated” date will change. Continued use of the site after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised policy where permitted by law.
